Selection Process
Joining Pakistan Informatics Training (PIT) is a journey that starts with curiosity and drive — and we make sure every participant truly shares that spark! Our selection process is designed to find passionate students eager to learn, compete, and grow.
Step 0: Register on MathJack & Codeforces
Before applying, make sure you are registered on both platforms where contests and camp will be held. Since the camp will be more focused on competitive programming, we expect you to know how to program. You should be able to understand and write basic programs in C++. If you don't know, don't worry — below you can find links to resources you can use to learn it.

Registration deadline: 20 November 2025
Step 2: Online MathJack and Codeforces Contest
After registration, you'll participate in the MathJack Online Contest — an energetic problem-solving challenge designed to test your logical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and algorithmic creativity. Don't worry if you're new — it's all about enthusiasm and potential!
The other round will be held on Codeforces, testing your abilities to write programs and demonstrating your enthusiasm for programming.
The online Contest date will be announced soon.
Step 3: Selection Announcement
Selected students will receive an email invitation to join the official PIT training program — a 3-month adventure of weekly online sessions, exciting challenges, and a community of like-minded learners.
So what are you waiting for? Take your first step into the world of informatics — where coding meets creativity, and every problem solved is a victory earned.
